A one-off donation gives us the flexibility to respond the moment it’s needed most. However much you’re able to give, you’ll be helping someone who has nowhere else to turn.
When you donate, you can choose to remain completely anonymous, or leave your name and a message telling us why you’re supporting the work we do. We love hearing from our kind donators and may share your messages across our website and social media to help inspire and encourage others to support our work too.
For less than your Spotify subscription, you could purchase therapeutic play materials to help a young child express their feelings and begin to heal from their
trauma.
That same small amount could also provide an emergency pack of essential toiletries for a woman or child arriving at our refuge with nothing.
For the monthly price of a Netflix subscription, you could stock a fridge in our safe accommodation so a mother and child can make breakfast together.
That same amount could fill a bag with baking ingredients or art supplies for children’s group activities, giving little ones the chance to build confidence, make
friends, and simply enjoy being kids again.
For the price of your gym membership, you could buy a supermarket gift voucher,
giving a mother a chance to shop for her children – providing essential clothing or fresh fruit and veg.
That same amount could fund a one-on-one support session for a child, giving them a safe space to open up about what they’ve been through with a dedicated support worker by their side.
For the price of your monthly phone bill, you could help a woman in our refuge attend a practical stress management or wellbeing course, giving her the tools to rebuild her self-esteem and start to feel like herself again.
The same amount could also provide a brand-new set of bedding – fresh duvets, pillows, and sheets – so a woman and her child are able to feel comfortable and safe where they lay their heads.
Every payment is processed securely, so your card details are never seen or stored by us. We take the security of your information as seriously as the safety of the families we support, so you can give with complete confidence.
